Common questions
How is usage measured?
We use an internal capacity unit. Your dashboard shows percentage bars for two rolling windows — 5h and 7d. No raw numbers. You always know how much is left and exactly when each window replenishes.
How do the rolling windows work?
The 5h window covers the last 5 hours of usage. The 7d window covers the last 7 days. Both roll continuously — there are no midnight resets or calendar boundaries.
What happens when I hit a limit?
You receive a 429 response with the exact reset time for the exhausted window. Claude Code shows this as a rate limit error with a timestamp. Your dashboard also shows the reset time.
Can I use the full 1M context window?
Yes, on all plans. Very large contexts use proportionally more capacity per request than short ones — factor this in for sustained large-context usage.
What is IP binding?
Your key is automatically bound to your source IP on first use. Requests from unknown IPs are blocked. Each plan includes a fixed number of IP slots. Extra slots cost $10/month each.
